Microneedle Skin Treatments For Aging Skin, Lines, Sun Damage, Pigmentation and Scars
Corrective Pigment Camouflage also known as Skin Needling, MCA, Needling Rolling, Scar Relaxation and Remodeling; is a process that is similar to cosmetic pigment camouflage, but without using the pigments. A “dry needle” or microneedle roller is applied to the area of concern. The body perceives this as trauma to the area and its response is to repair and heal. The most common results you can expect:
-
Improved appearance of lines, wrinkles, and scars due to acne, injury, surgery and burns
-
Faster results due to the drastic increase in absorption of products
-
Eye and lip/mouth areas can be treated before and after injectible fillers
-
Diminishes hyper-pigmentation and rough texture common signs of sun damage
-
Healthier, younger looking skin without downtime
- Hair restoration for thinning hairlines, scar camouflage and Alopecia suffers
What is Scar Relaxation and Scar Remodeling? Scars from breast surgery, brow lifts, facelifts, and hair transplantation can be visibly improved. Needling the scar stimulates the re-coloration of white scars by bringing new blood supply to the area. Softening and remodeling of the scar can often minimize the need for Corrective Pigment Camouflage.

Simply put, the principle of needling creates a wound, which heals in three phases: inflammation, proliferation, and tissue remodeling. Healing takes from 3-7 days. Most people see results almost immediately, and keep seeing results through the tissue re-educating or remodeling process during the healing period and weeks to follow. There are no guarantees with needling. Some client’s improvements are seen quickly while others even with multiple treatments, there is only a slight improvement.
Men and women alike can benefit from these procedures; results vary with each individual depending on the area, depth of the depressed tissue, and condition of the skin and how the individual heals. Clients experience a new appearance that translates into increased self-confidence and esteem.
Professional DermaFile treatments stimulate collagen production in the affected area plumping it up; targets hyper-pigmentation, rough skin and sun damage; and improves the appearance of lines and wrinkles. This is especially exciting for the mouth and eye areas and can be used in addition to epidermal peels, laser facial rejuvenation, facelifts, fat grafting and injectibles when more softening of finer lines in these areas is desired.
